Terms and Conditions

General Terms & Conditions

At Raspberry Catering we have a real passion and enthusiasm for food.
We want your special event to be just that; which is why we are happy to talk to you about your event and help you in any way we can.

Minimum Orders

 In most cases this is £100 per order unless otherwise agreed.

Payment Terms

  •  Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit to our bank account
  •  A Non-returnable deposit of 25% of the full cost is due upon confirmation of your order.
  •  Final payment  is usually due at the latest, 14 days after the event.
  •  All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the standard rate.
  •  We reserve the right to apply charges on overdue accounts.

Cancellations

  • Bookings cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to the date of the event, will result in the loss of the deposit.
  • Bookings cancelled between 13 and 7 days prior to the date of the event, will incur a charge of 50% of the anticipated cost of the booking.
  • Bookings cancelled less than 7 days prior to the date of the event, will incur a charge of 90% of the anticipated cost of the booking.
  • Cancellations on the day of the event will be charged in full.
  • Cancellations will only be accepted once confirmed in writing (or e mail).

 

Allergy/Special Dietary Requirements

  • Whilst we endeavour to meet any allergy or special dietary requirements we cannot 100% guarantee to be compliant.
  • We can prepare nut free products, however, please note that as our kitchens are used for the preparation of some nut products, severe allergy sufferers maybe effected.
  • We can prepare gluten free products, however, please note that as our kitchens are used for the preparation of  products, with gluten and wheat therefore we cannot guarantee  severe allergy sufferers maybe effected.

Delivery/ Collection Procedures

  • For food orders we reserve the right to deliver no more than 1 hour in advance of the requested delivery time on the day the order is required.
  • Equipment: Platters, bowls, table cloths, cutlery, cake stands and vintage china will be collected the same day or at a date arranged with you  and the most convenient time. A box and if necessary, protective packaging will be left for you to put all the equipment and china for collection. Missing or damaged items will be charged for at the full replacement cost.
  • There is no charge for customers who pick up vintage china from us and return those items to us.
  • Events we attend and provide Service for, we will deliver, set up and clear and collect all items of equipment including vintage china.

Hire of Cutlery, Linen, Cake Stands & Vintage China

  • All our crockery is mix and match; therefore we cannot guarantee specific colours or sizes.
  • Hire is for 1-4 days, this can cover a  weekend from Friday through to Monday
  • A refundable deposit of £100.00 is required for all items.
  • The Deposit will be returned to you after the event, full payment has cleared and items are retuned undamaged.
  • China & Glass are ‘strictly handwash only’.  A washing up service of £1.00 per item is available from us.
  • Delivery and collection is subject to a charge outside of the Cwmbran Area
  • Our Vintage China is delicate. Raspberry Catering shall not be responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property arising from the goods, however caused.
  • A deposit of 25% of your order is require to secure you order. If we are also catering for you, 25% of your total order with us is required.
  • Balance of your order is due 28 days before your event

VAT

  • All prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the standard rate.

Delivery Charges

  •  Delivery charges will apply dependent on area. Please ask for details.

Liability

  • We cannot accept liability for circumstances beyond our control which include, but are not limited to, flood, fire, industrial action, power cuts etc. In such circumstance we will work with you to obtain a mutually satisfactory outcome

Complaints Procedure

 

  • If you experience any problems whatsoever with an order, please speak to us immediately on receipt of the order and we will do everything possible to rectify the situation straight away.
  • Feedback from our customers is hugely appreciated and acted upon when appropriate.

Privacy Policy

  • We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

Important

  • All items are subject to availability and the terms detailed above.
  • Raspberry Catering is committed to using, where possible, seasonal and local produce. We therefore reserve the right to alter ingredients if necessary, but without compromising the quality of our recipes.
